Brief Background

The long - cherished aspiration of Shree Jagannath society is realizing towards commemorating all Indian community in Japan for a mutual co-existence along with people in Japan.

Objectives

(a) to promote universal peace & brotherhood, (b) people-to-people bond & friendship and (c) cultural exchange (d) sports, education and welfare activities promoting Indo, Japan relation and other international communities while maintaining 4 key principles of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mission Goals :

Strengthen people-to-people bond and friendship and promote cultural exchange between Indian & Japanese community by organizing annual Shree Jagannath Rath Yatra Festival in different Prefectures of Japan with participation and ownership of Japanese & Indian community together, starting with;

Kasugai City/Aichi ( 25th June, 2023 )

Bando City/Ibaraki( 2nd July, 2023 )

Promote scholarly exchange of knowledge and research on Shree Jagannath Sanskriti;

Provide guidance to Japanese scholars who are interested to learn Indian culture, including classical and devotional dances like Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Kathak etc.;

Promote intellectual networking and dialogues among academics & scientific community and business & corporate sector on planetary agendas like University to University collaboration, the Unsustainable Development Goals (SDGs) towards betterment of the society, the environment and the planet.
