TOKYO BALI YATRA 2026
Celebrating India’s Maritime Heritage, Culture & Friendship Across Asia
Shree Jagannath Society Japan is delighted to announce the inaugural Tokyo Bali Yatra 2026 – a first-of-its-kind celebration in Tokyo inspired by the historic Bali Yatra tradition of Odisha, the maritime legacy of ancient Kalinga and Shree Jagannath Culture.
Tokyo Bali Yatra celebrates the rich maritime legacy of ancient Kalinga (present-day Odisha) and the trade and cultural connections that linked India’s eastern coast with South and Southeast Asia, while creating a new platform for friendship and cultural exchange with Japan and the wider Asian community.
This November, we bring that spirit to Tokyo through a vibrant celebration of maritime heritage, culture and friendship across Asia.
